When it comes to baptism, there are three things we like to communicate:

1. Baptism is a public expression of an inward decision to follow Jesus.
2. Baptism occurs after a personal decision to follow Jesus. (Which is why we only baptize those old enough to decide for themselves).
3. Baptism is not a requirement to be saved, but an obedient response to it.
